iDentist

iDentist is a dental practice management app for solo dentists and small clinics that want scheduling, patient records and dental charts on the phone, tablet and computer they already own. 4. Turn on automatic reminders so patients receive a message before every visit.

Record a visit and plan treatment

1. Open the patient from the calendar and review medical history and previous visits.
2. Mark findings on the dental chart and add diagnoses and procedures.
3. Build a treatment plan, show the patient their costs and save clinical notes, typed or dictated.
4. Attach X-ray images or photos so they stay with the record.

Run a small clinic across several devices

1. Install iDentist on each device staff will use, within the device limit of your plan.
2. Give assistants and reception access to the same practice so they can manage appointments.
3. Use a phone or tablet at the chair and the desktop app at reception; changes sync through the cloud.

Install and first run

• iPhone and iPad: install from the App Store; iOS or iPadOS 16.6 or later is required.
• Mac: the Mac App Store version needs macOS 11.5 or later.
• Android: install from Google Play; Android 7.0 or later.
• Windows: install from the Microsoft Store; Windows 10 version 1809 or later.

After installation, sign up inside the app to start the trial; the developer states that no credit card is needed. A stable internet connection is recommended so records stay in sync, although offline work is supported. Payments on mobile go through the App Store or Google Play, so a plan bought on one platform is managed in that store. Limitations

• No free edition: when the paid plan ends, app access is suspended until it is renewed.
